Raipur, October 2, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi today. He offered floral tributes to their portraits and recalled their enduring contributions and ideals.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi, through his commitment to truth, non-violence and humanity, gave the world a message of peace and harmony. His philosophy reflected a deep concern for the welfare of the last person in society and the vision of a self-reliant India. His life continues to inspire people to remain steadfast on the path of truth and fulfil their responsibilities towards society and the nation.
