Raipur, September 17, 2026/

Expressing gratitude for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service, the ‘Aashirwad Ke Diye’ programme was organised on a large scale across Chhattisgarh under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan on Thursday. Citizens participated enthusiastically and lit more than 1.50 crore lamps across the state.

From villages to cities, people lit lamps at various locations to express their appreciation for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s long public life, spirit of service and commitment to nation-building.

People from all sections of society participated wholeheartedly in the ‘Aashirwad Ke Diye’ programme. Women, youth, farmers, workers, students, public representatives and citizens collectively lit lamps and extended their good wishes to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. At several locations, the lamps were arranged to create attractive patterns and meaningful messages.

A special atmosphere of service and public participation was witnessed at programmes organised across the state’s districts. Large numbers of citizens gathered at temples, public squares, prominent grounds and other public places to light lamps. The programmes conveyed a message of strengthening collective resolve for service, cooperation, and positive social change.

Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, various public-service and community-participation programmes are being organised across Chhattisgarh from September 17 to October 17. The campaign aims to bring the spirit of service and good governance to every citizen and connect different sections of society with constructive, public-welfare activities.
